AmmoVaultSD – Refund & Return Policy
1. General rule
We do not accept returns except as listed in sections 2–4 below. Ammunition ‘banked’ at Ammo Vault remains your property and will be held for you until you request delivery or other arrangements.

2. 15-day subscription refund
• Eligibility: Request must be made within 15 days of the subscription payment date.
• Amount: Refund is 90% of the subscription payment (10% retained).
• How it’s issued: Refunds are processed to the original payment method whenever possible. If that’s not possible, we will issue a company check.
• Processing time: Allow 7–10 business days for processing once the request is approved.

3. Company buyback (Ammo Vault repurchases)
• Availability: We may offer to buy back certain ammunition types. This does not apply to all ammunition (see exclusions below).
• Restocking fee: Any buyback amount will be reduced by a 10% restocking fee.
• Payment: Buyback payments are issued via the original payment method or company check — processed within 7–10 business days after inspection and agreement.

4. Sell-on-your-behalf (consignment-style)
• Option: At your request, Ammo Vault will offer your banked ammunition to other members.
• Fee: A processing fee will apply to the sale proceeds. Standard processing fee: 10% of the final sale amount (plus any direct costs such as shipping or transfer fees). We will deduct the fee and remit the remainder to you.
• Terms: Sales are subject to applicable laws and transfer restrictions (background checks, FFL, etc.). We will handle transfer paperwork and charge any required transfer or shipping fees to the buyer or deduct them from proceeds, as agreed in writing beforehand.
• Timeline: We will make a reasonable effort to market and sell the ammunition; there is no guaranteed sale date.

5. Exclusions / non-eligible items
Buybacks and consignment/sales may be limited or refused for items such as (but not limited to):
• Certain specialty, restricted, or otherwise non-transferable calibers or lots

6. How to request a refund / buyback / sale
To start any of these processes, please provide:
• Your subscription ID or full name on the account
• Date of deposit and proof of purchase (if asked for)
• Send requests to: ammo@ammovault.com or call (605) 662-SHOT and ask for the Banking Team. We will reply with next steps within 2 business days.

7. Shipping & pickup
• Unless you request otherwise, your ammunition will remain in storage.
• If you want it shipped to you, we will arrange shipment in compliance with all applicable laws (FFL transfers where required). Shipping costs and any transfer fees are paid by the customer unless otherwise agreed.

8. Liability & safety
• Ammo Vault inspects stored ammunition visually at intake but cannot guarantee performance; we are not liable for misuse of ammunition after sale or return.
• All transfers and sales are subject to local, state, and federal laws; customers are responsible for ensuring they are eligible to receive ammunition. We will refuse transfers that would violate applicable laws.

9. Processing times & disputes
• Standard processing for refunds/buybacks: 7–10 business days after approval/inspection.

10. Gifts
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

11. Policy changes
  Ammo Vault reserves the right to update this policy. We will notify subscribers 30 days before material changes take effect.
